Detecting method of pantograph failure by measuring catenary vibration

Certain factors such as arcing between the contact wire and pantograph contact strip cause local wear of the contact strips. Once the local wear occurs, it is highly likely that step-shaped wear is developed. The contact strip with this step-shaped wear may lead to accidents such as contact wire breakage.
