Accelerated fatigue life testing: 'gating' effects (IM-FM-008)
Last updated on 02 December 2013 4:39
There is some level of stress range, in a random signal, so low that it does not influence the fatigue life. Hence all stress cycles with ranges less than this can safely be eliminated in fatigue tests. The aim of this work is to establish this level for finite lives.
