The critical frequency of glass-plastic laminates (IM-PHYS-022)

The critical frequency of a panel determines the upper frequency limit on the mass-controlled linear region of its acoustic transmission loss curve (Ref. 1). At the critical frequency the transmission loss of a panel can become quite small-It is generally desirable to keep the critical frequency as high as possible.
