Strength tests on the back up system for E-train windows (IM-SD-044)

Static and shear deflection tests were carried out on the back-up system for the E-Train windows. The static failing pressure was in the region of [text omitted as illegible] kN/m² which compares with a failing pressure of 19.3 kN/m² for the existing system using "Solbit" Thermosensitive Tape.
