Instrumentation for A.P.T. pilot load-measuring wheel set (IM-IS-039)

The work was carried out for the Materials Applications Section. The objective of the test was to measure the strains induced at various points in the A.P.T. Pilot Load-measuring Wheelset under static load conditions. The tests were carried out in the Test Hall, R.T.C., during December 1971.
