Flow characteristics of silica paste (IM-PS-098A)

Silica paste is a colloidal suspension of graded sterilised sand in water and glycol. The mixture is based on a formula known as Slipmaster arrived at by ICI and modified by Scientific Services. In common with other colloids the material is invested with non-Newtonian characteristics.
