Static proof testing of the swinging arm APT 'E' suspension steering beam (IM-SI-031)

1. Before fitting to the APT 'E' Train one set of major suspension components are required to undergo proof tests in order to check the stress levels generated during anticipated maximum loading conditions. This report describes proof load tests and stiffness measurements on the Swinging Arm Suspension Steering Beam Assembly.
