Instrumentation for tests on a dipped welded joint at Radcliffe on Trent (IM-IS-026)

These tests were carried out for the Track and Structures Section to determine the response of a rail to the passage of vehicles over a dipped, welded joint. The work was carried out on the London Transport section of the experimental paved track at Radcliffe on Trent during August 1971.
