Concrete sleepered track with Pandrol fastenings observations on the prototype assemblies in service over period of 6 years (TN-TAS-104)

The present standard B.R. track consisting of Concrete Sleepers (originally type F23 later superseded by F27) with Pandrol rail clips was first laid in December 1963 near Atherstone on the London - Crewe main line. The design of the Components was a joint effort between the various manufacturers and B.R.
