A case for modifying the hydrokinetic brake design? (IM-PS-083A)

In this memorandum, some actual experimental evidence is presented, and it substantiates previous comments (Ref. 1) on the embarrassing influence of the second toroid on the performance of the H.K.B. It is shown that a true proportionality does exist between pressure rise across the brake and the torque it produces.
