A further investigation of dynamic effects in the proposed A.P.T. electrical transmission (IM-PS-052)

Last updated on 06 December 2013 11:23
The proposed A.P.T. electrical transmission incorporates a quill cardan shaft with Hooke's joints at each end of the shaft. These joints give rise to cyclic speed variations of the shaft and other secondary effects, A preliminary analysis of the transmission response due to these effects was made in IMPS 45.
