Supporting systems for APT-E transmission brakes (IM-PS-015)

The powered axles of APT-E are to be braked by water cooled handbrakes which must interface with various functions in the power car. It is essential that those interfaces be defined and a block diagram showing the functions necessary to the effective operation of the brake is shown in SK/APT/l040(appended).
