Preliminary parameters for intermediate and end vehicle bodies/steering beam joints (IM-SUS-008)

In order to obtain the required steering geometry on constant radius curves, the length of steering beam beneath end vehicles has to be longer than that beneath intermediate vehicles, and this results in the movements of the end vehicle/steering beam joint being different to those of the intermediate vehicle/steering beam.
