The effect of rail and wheelset deformation on the effective conicity (TN-DYN-061)

An experiment in which the various deformations of a wheelset with profiled treads seated on B.S. 110. A. rails were measured, is described. From these results an analysis is made of the effect of axleload upon effective conicity.
