Transport of solids by pipeline (E-412)

A survey has been made of the feasibility of transporting solids entrained in water flow in pipelines and a search of the literature has produced a large number of references to theoretical and laboratory studies on this topic. A bibliography with abstracts is given, and also details of typical installations.
