The impact strength of mineral wagons (E-174)

In August 1956 the Research Department published a report on Hydraulic Buffers (1) which contained a number of recommendations for the guidance of buffer manufacturers. It was suggested in this report that the threshold of damage to the buffer should be at least as high as that of the wagon.
