Subsequent to the [text omitted as illegible] of the up 'Royal Scot' at Watford Tunnel on the 3rd February, 1954, due to the fracture of a 109 lb./yd. F.B. rail at the running-on end, and in view of the fact that calculation shows that the thinner web of the F.B.
