Derailment of the 12.05 hours waterloo to Wimbledon parcels train at Waterloo on 30 May 1973 (TM-FT-027)

At 12.08 hours on Thursday, 30 May 1973, the 12.05 hours Waterloo to Wimbledon Parcels train became derailed on 96(A) points at Waterloo "West Crossings". It was running from the Down Main Through line to the Down Windsor line. The train comprised two 4-SUB units, 4691 leading and 4376 trailing.
