Comparison of 'train noise prediction model' with 'calculation of railway noise: 1994' (RR-DYN-95-086)

A comparison has been made between "Train Noise Prediction Model" (TNPM) developed by Ashdown Environmental Limited (AEL) for the calculation of noise from trains using the proposed Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) and the version of "Calculation of Railway Noise" (CRN) submitted to the Department of Transport in June 1994.
