Theory & examples of the use of the finite element method to predict steady state sound fields (TM-EA-14)
Last updated on 31 March 2014 1:08
The governing equations for the steady state sound fields are reformulated using the finite element method and these are solved by the 'NEWPAC' program. Solutions for the standing wave patterns in a tube and a cylinder are presented together with examples of the method of NEWPAC data input.
