Examination of a failed electroslag welded Vee - Hallcraig (TM-FM-29)

The failed electroslag - welded Vee was a part of a common crossing which had been installed at the Hallcraig site in October 1968 and had failed in July 1973. The failed crossing was examined visually on site and the following report describes the findings.
