Derailment of train 9B27 at Newcastle Central on 11 February 1974 (TM-FT-31)

Train 9B27 from Low Fell to West Blyth became derailed near Newcastle Central Station at 20.02 h on Monday, 11 Feb 74. It comprised 41 empty hoppers and a brake van hauled by Class 37 locomotive 6762.
