At 02-55 h on 12 Aug 74 six wagons in train 8J63, which comprised locomotive 47 100 and 71 empty 16 ton mineral wagons and brake van, derailed on the Obtuse crossing at Lincoln Pelham St. Junction when the train was proceding from the Down G.C. line to Lincoln Central.
