Derailment of the 03.10 hours Victoria to Ramsgate train at Meopham on 23 Apr 1974 (TM-FT-38)

The 03.10 hours newspaper and passenger train from Victoria to Ramsgate became derailed on plain line at Meopham at 03.49 hours on Tuesday, 23 Apr 74. It comprised one BSK (1st in train) three BG's, three FMV's, and three CCT's, hauled by locomotive 71 005.
