Flash-welding of AMS rail at Dinsdale Depot (TM-MET-17)

As a preliminary to the production of flash-welds in bull-head low carbon austenitic manganese steel (AMS) rail for the Great Northern and City Line, a series of test welds in 113A flat bottom low carbon AMS rail have been produced at Dinsdale depot using welding conditions developed at Hookagate Depot.
