Installation of paved concrete track (PACT) checking and correcting procedures (TM-PACT-3)

The objective of all slip-form paving operations carried out to date by the Research & Development Division have been to construct maintenance free track to tolerances suitable for an operating speed of 200 km/h. This objective holds even where the overall geometry has been designed for a lower operating speed.
