A magnetic suspension control system (TN-D-30)

Two basic systems of magnetic suspension are possible 1.1 A.C Eddy current repulsion 1.2 D.C. or A.C. Magnetic attraction 1.3 There are advantages in using 1.1 as it is inherently stable and to a great extent self adjusting. Unfortunately other factors make this system less attractive.
