The effects of various design options upon the energy consumption of railway passenger vehicles (TN-ES-13)

Last updated on 07 April 2014 12:47
The design of railway vehicles is largely dictated by the operational specifications that they have to meet. However, these specifications in turn are influenced by the constraints imposed by the chosen design parameters. This paper considers the effects of these parameters on railway vehicle design from the energy viewpoint.
