Analysis of proof load tests on BR/GEC tubular axle induction motor (TN-STR-4)

Proof load tests have been carried out on a BR/CEC Tubular Axle Induction Motor. The motor survived the tests without any visible damage and without unacceptably high stress levels being measured in critical areas. The test results are compared with those predicted theoretically during the design of the motor.
