Specification for brake equipment, friction braking. (IM-BA-016)

The APT has been designed with two alternative design and performance characteristics, as given below. Primarily it wil1 have the characteristics of the 'normal' train. It can also, if required, run under 'de-rated' conditions. The brake system should be capable of dealing with either type of train.
