Methods of fastening flat-bottom rails to sleepers static tests on mills 'C.3.R' rail clip and assembly (E-487)
Last updated on 24 July 2014 4:14
The static tests conducted on the assembly incorporating the Mills C.S.R. clip have proved satisfactory. The stresses induced in the clip during driving can reach the 0.1% proof stress if adverse conditions exist with a small jaw gap and thick baseplate. This has the effect of scragging the clip.
