Mix design for western region precast works Taunton (TM-TS-1)

Our assistance was sought to furnish a mix using Meldon Stone and the local sand, specifically for pre-stressed bridge beams but also for conventionally reinforced items requiring high early handling strength. Until comparatively recently, a good limestone had been used and it is understood that no difficulties were experienced.
