Further developments with the 'low contact stress' rail profile (LR-MT-016)

The high rail on high-speed curves is susceptible to Rolling Contact Fatigue (RCF) cracking and squat failures. A Low Contact Stress (LCS) rail profile has been designed to overcome this problem.
