Derailment of a breakdown crane at Croft 20 October 1995 (RR-DYN-96-107)

The Toton Breakdown Crane was being manoeuvred into position ready to rerail some stone hopper wagons which had derailed in a siding adjacent to the up line when it became derailed itself. The leading two wheelsets of the crane carriage and the adjacent wheelset of the relieving bogie were derailed.
