Investigation of U/B 13 Crewe - Stafford (RR-TCE-071)

Underbridge 13 between Crewe and Stafford is a post-tensioned concrete bridge. Built in 1956, the bridge carries the West Coast Main Line over the River Sow. Railtrack Midland Zone have asked BR Research to carry out investigations to evaluate the load capacity of the bridge. The study included two phases.
