Integrating ergonomics into engineering and engineering into ergonomics

This book chapter outlines opportunities for integration of ergonomics and human factors interventions within engineering activities inside Network Rail. Potential benefits associated with ergonomics and human factors integration are outlined in relation to system design, standards, commercial frameworks, competence management and design efficiency.
