Safety management systems and safety culture in aircraft maintenance organisations

In order to examine how safety is managed in different organisations, a self-regulatory model, focusing in particular on organisational and human factors, was proposed. Using various research methodologies, the relationship between different features of safety management and culture were explored. The model was used to study four aircraft maintenance organisations.
