The impact of aggressive driving on the design of level crossing safety measures

In the paper a specific approach is described contributing to the more efficient design of safety measures at level crossings. The approach is based on a cost-effectiveness evaluation for a set of level crossings on a regional railway network. Improvements in safety are treated as investments.
