Anthropometric survey of British Rail footplate staff

The journal reports on a study undertaken to determine the dimensions in the design of driving cabs of trains such as the Advanced Passenger Train and the High Speed Diesel Train. To obtain the data, 323 British Rail footplate staff were measured wearing their ‘usual’ uniform.
