Generic human reliability assessment for railways: Results

Last updated on 01 September 2014 3:06
This chapter examines the use of generic human reliability risk assessment models for signalling operations and points maintenance. The authors concluded that task analytical methods for human reliability analysis should be chosen selectively. Hierarchical task analysis was reported to be appropriate for signalling, yet was overly complicated for points maintenance.
