Improvement of a nose movable frog in Japan
Last updated on 02 September 2014 3:33
The Nose Movable Frog (NMF) has been used for more than 40 years in the very high speed train (Shinkansen) tracks. It was originally developed in Japan in order to eliminate a lack of rails in previous rigid frogs and back lateral forces on wheels caused by a guard rail.
