Research on the competitiveness of tilting trains

Research has been conducted on areas identified to have potential to further improve the competitiveness of tilting trains. The running times improves with increased cant deficiency, top speed and tractive performance; however the benefit of increased top speed and tractive performance is small above a certain level.
