Modular platforms for station renewal

Station and platform refurbishment, renewal, and extension are major elements in the delivery of an improved passenger rail service. A key barrier to the programme of renewal is the difficulty in obtaining sufficient access time to perform the works using traditional construction methods in a practical and cost effective manner.
