Impact of traction current in tracks as return circuit of overhead contact line on track circuit used in signalling and safety systems

This work describes results of mathematical modelling, established at the Technical Faculty in Cacak which examined impact of return traction current through railway tracks on functioning of signalling and safety systems in track circuit. This mathematical model has been tested through experimenting in electrified tracks belonging to the Yugoslav Railways.
