Stainless steel for railway engineers

The product life cycle of stainless steels and conventional steel ribbed (high bond strength) reinforcing bar are similar. They both have lives starting within the 20th century and yet are perceived as being at the apex of their life cycle. In terms of civil/constructional materials this is a short term.
