The tyre hollowness of four-wheeled vehicles as a function of time in service (TN-DYN-026)

Last updated on 16 September 2014 10:59
A typical new coned wheel was found to wear to terminal values of tyre hollowness after a service period of 1.1/2 - 2 years representing a mileage of approximately 4,500 - 6,000 miles. In the service period of 2-9 years the hollowness appears to be relatively stable.
