The generation of daily gridded datasets of temperature and rainfall for the UK, Climate Memorandum No.24,

We have developed gridded datasets of daily rainfall amount and daily maximum, minimum and mean air temperature, covering the UK at 5 km x 5 km resolution, for the period 1960 to 2006. We used the Met Office archive of daily observations as the main input to the analysis.
