RED wins "highly commended" in Rail Business Awards

Our long-running RED video programme provides the rail workforce with awareness on a range of safety issues, to help reduce operational risk. Previous issues have covered a range of operational issues, including adhesion, human factors, mental health and the platform train interface. Each video conveys safety messages about railway operations with an emphasis on the key learning points. The videos are used in safety briefings and training sessions across the industry.

The Rail Business Awards are announcing their 2021 winners during the week beginning 22 February. The winners Education and Training Excellence have been announced, and RED was highly commended in that category.

This is in addition to the previous awards that the RED programmes have won in recent years.

In 2019, RED won bronze at the Internal Communication & Engagement Awards in the “best ongoing commitment to internal communications” category.

In 2018, RED won bronze at the Corporate Engagement Awards in the “best stakeholder communications” category.
