Provision of Welfare Facilities for Rail Workers

The railway has changed in the last 30 years, a shrinking infrastructure and fragmented responsibilities have contributed to a reduction in the provision of toilet facilities for staff. The problems extend across train drivers and infrastructure workers.  Notwithstanding workplace regulations for safety, health and equality, as a modern railway, we must meet the human need and dignity requirements of the workforce.
