workplace-wellbeing-awards-1000x500

The Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards focus on a range of topical wellbeing matters. The organisers distribute prizes for change, impact, and excellence.

The Workplace Wellbeing Awards were co-founded by Wellity Workplace Wellbeing. They recognised the RMHC for its robust and practical framework. Wellity Workplace Wellbeing is a global leading provider of mental health and wellbeing training.

Around 100 UK rail organisations are now using the RMHC to set strategies around supporting employee wellbeing. Workers in the rail industry face a range of adverse circumstances. These include changing shift patterns, demanding conditions, and traumatic occurrences. And all have the potential to trigger mental health difficulties.

The RMHC is built on seven different areas for action. It takes a structured, evidence-based approach to wellbeing management, including prevention and support. It’s also free for rail companies to use. We believe that cost should not be a barrier to accessing important mental health products and services.

Now in widespread use across the country, the RMHC is already helping to transform rail’s approach to mental health in the workplace. We’re pleased that the RMHC has been able to facilitate so much change in its first 2 years and that it has been recognised as an initiative worthy of being shortlisted in this exciting category.
